Get new spot in Downtown Matthews. Our server was fantastic and I loved trying all the sauces. The garlic aioli was my favorite. We got the salads and they were a good size. Chicken was well seasoned. Fun spot.

I had a delightful visit. Service was A++. I always love when service has been properly trained and can answer questions. Our server had a delightful personality, and we were checked on by (i think) a manager. We ordered a Backyard Classic and a Rocket Turkey with Parmesan, garlic, and olive oil fries shareable. All were tasty. Turkey burger was well seasoned and not dry at all. Very moist. The interior vibe is cute. Lots of cozy outdoor seating. Parking is decent. I'll be back.

I bring my two Goldens here often and they love this spot as much as I do! From the staff that comes out to greet them, to the awesome live music and jumbo tv on their back deck showcasing all the best sporting events, this is our go to spot and the gold standard for all the restaurants in downtown Matthews! A+ everytime!

Great selection of burgers. My daughter and I both went for the build your own and the rosemary fries. Everything came out quick and tasted phenomenal. Our server, Addison, was super kind and helpful. She never missed a beat. Will definitely eat here again when back in the area.

Moo & Brew is one of our go-to spots for a casual night out with the family. It’s a great place to bring kids ... relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff, and easy to enjoy without feeling rushed. The food consistently delivers, and the burger I had was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a Charlotte legend - now in Matthews. Owners are really cool. The burger ... perfectly cooked, great flavor, and high-quality ingredients. Solid experience all around. Oh and get the CHEESE CURDS!

First visit,, definitely not the last. Ordered the pretzels and they came out like they were just baked. Had the Peter Piper hamburger that was so fresh like they just made the pattie and grilled it and put it on a bun. We'll worth the visit. Keep up the great work Team !!!

Stopped for lunch on a cold sunny day. Ordered the mushroom patty melt, and their hot chicken sandwich, a regular order or fries for two was plenty. Good food, the chicken was very tender. Had one of their special drinks and it was delicious.

Great spot for sports. Lots of space and beer. My son loved their root beer in a cold glass and I enjoyed the salad with chicken on top. Good seasoning. Not your ordinary salad! Parking is decent in the back and the service was exceptional. They enjoyed their crafted burgers and i enjoyed the other choices on the menu. It was clean and everyone was very nice as well. Thank you for the great lunch!

This place is a fun and comfortable choice for watching sports and enjoying a meal. There is plenty of room, a solid drink selection, and a relaxed atmosphere. My son was happy with his root beer served ice cold in a chilled glass, while I was impressed by the chicken salad which had great seasoning and felt far from basic. The burgers were a hit, and the rest of the menu offers nice variety as well. Parking in the back is convenient, the restaurant was very clean, and the service stood out with how friendly and attentive everyone was. It made for a really enjoyable lunch experience.

We visited Moo & Brew while we were in Matthews and it turned into such a fun and memorable experience for our whole family.
We happened to arrive on the day of the Carolina vs. Duke game, which made the atmosphere even more lively. I’m not much of a sports person myself, but it was honestly adorable watching everyone enjoy the game together. When we walked up, I asked about reservations. They did have reservations available, but since we didn’t mind sitting outside, they seated us immediately, which was wonderful.
The setup here is fantastic. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely charming, but they also have a great patio area where well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. There’s also a back deck where they were playing the game on a big screen with cornhole set up and a limited patio menu and beer selection, while the front indoor area offers the full menu.
The food was incredible. We ordered the Carolina Burger and a Swiss and Mushroom burger, and both were cooked perfectly with great toppings. The kids got chicken tenders, and I have to say the fries were immaculate. I’ve honestly never had fries that perfectly cooked and seasoned before. Even my kids, who usually don’t care much about fries, loved them.
The staff made the experience even better. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She had dreadlocks and just the sweetest personality for the job. The hostesses were also cheerful and helpful, which really set a great tone when we first walked in.
To top it off, they even had a face painter set up outside, which was such a sweet touch for families.
We will absolutely be coming back and plan to try every burger and craft beer we can over time. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere made this one of the best casual dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!
